The role

Needed: a dedicated EA and Office Manager to join the experienced start-up team at Legacy of Lives!

Legacy of Lives is an end-of-life planning solution focusing on supporting families, hospices, and hospitals through a free, supportive C2B website. Their product is free to consumers and will help millions during a difficult time as well as supporting independent funeral directors with digital marketing and lead generation.

You will be helping with a number of functions including but not limited to, personnel management, assisting the CEO, investor liaison, client support and undertaking the management of project delivery and administration procedure. Sound interesting? Then hit 'apply'!

  • Able to successfully formulate solutions and strategies to ensure company and client objectives are met
  • Command exceptional people and relationship management skills; full capability to communicate across all mediums, with public and internal executives at all level
  • Exhibition and event management
  • Diary management, travel arrangements and minute taking
  • Office management
  • Providing a proactive approach and problem-solving skills, seamlessly supporting colleagues to achieve their objectives
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite & Zoom
  • Bonus to have knowledge of QuickBooks, HMRC Government Gateway and Companies House Online
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with our network
  • Extremely reliable and conscientious and ability to act with discretion and confidentiality

The ideal candidate will have...

  • Solid 3+ years’ experience in an office role or as an Executive Assistant
  • Conscientious and professional
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft office including Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great telephone manner
  • Ability to work alone or as team
  • Location close to the office in SE8
  • Reliable, positive and driven

The key details

💰 £26,000 - 32,000, dependent on experience

📅 Full-time, but Legacy of Lives are open to a part-time candidate for 4 or 5 days per week or 10am - 2pm daily for working parents or student (salary pro-rated accordingly)!

❗ This position is open and available for a an immediate or within a 4-week start. The position will be permanent after a 3 month trial
